Enrollment requirements

To be eligible for enrollment, students should be at least 2 years old and have not yet turned 6. While we accept 2-year-old students, this is done on a case-by-case basis.  If you have a 2-year-old child, please indicate that on your interest form.
   
MOST students should be comfortable using a portable potty (with teacher assistance). Diapers are welcome, but please be advised that your child may not be able to have their diaper changed immediately after soiling.  When children are actively playing, sometimes they do not alert us to their pottying needs!

Valencia is committed to working as a team to best serve your child in a developmentally appropriate manner, which includes not forcing a child to potty train earlier than they feel ready.

In an outdoor setting, students will need to navigate wearing multiple layers of clothing during the colder months.  Therefore, another requirement is that your child be willing to keep on their layers of clothing when necessary.
